A Digital Colleague Connecting Richter: How RinGO Became the Central Internal Communication Platform

Large pharmaceutical organizations need internal communication that is consistent, secure, measurable and accessible to every employee, including those without a laptop or regular desk-based access.

Richter operates in a highly complex environment: blue- and white-collar employees, different shifts, several locations, multiple generations and both Hungarian and international teams. Before RinGO, internal communication relied on several parallel channels, including the intranet, printed posters, closed Facebook groups, digital screens and newsletters.

The challenge

·  Reaching physical workers and non-desk employees effectively

·  Reducing noise from parallel communication channels

·  Creating one shared source of relevant information

·  Supporting feedback, interaction and community-building

·   Making communication performance measurable

The Blue Colibri solution

Richter launched RinGO as a digital colleague: a shared platform available on mobile and desktop, designed for targeted content, interaction, measurement and community connection.

The rollout was built as a cross-functional project involving internal communication, IT, HR, Data Protection and Compliance teams. The launch included testing with 78 employees, automatic app installation on company phones, browser start-page integration and a creative character-based introduction campaign.

Why it matters

The Richter story shows that the successful launch of an internal communication platform is not only a technology project. It is a structured organizational change supported by leadership, employee involvement, measurable goals and a strong adoption campaign.
